Mon, Sept 24 at 7 pm - AT EAST CITY BOOKS: Booksellers at East City Books & OMP join forces for an exciting event with acclaimed author Heidi Heilig in conversation w/ We Need Diverse Books founder Ellen Oh to discuss FOR A MUSE OF FIRE. The book talk will be followed by musical theater karaoke (!) featuring songs from musicals inspired by books!
Tues, Sept 25 at 7 pm: You have the opportunity to see both Forrest Pritchard and Ellen Polishuk at ARLINGTON CENTRAL LIBRARY discuss START YOUR FARM: The Authoritative Guide to Becoming a Sustainable 21st Century Farmer. Presented in conjunction with Arlington Urban Agriculture.
Thurs, Sept 27 at 6:30 pm: We host our first Romance Roundtable panel featuring outstanding regional authors. Author Angelina Lopez moderates the panel, leading a discussion with Lori Ann Bailey (the HIGHLAND PRIDE series), Mia Sosa (PRETENDING HE'S MINE), and Sharon Wray (the DEADLY FORCE series) about writing romance across genres--from historical Highlands to contemporary romance to suspense. It’s an evening of wine, swords and kilts, and swoon-worthy books!
